2026
Jerome Delaney 6-4 PG Oak Park
Delaney is a big guard with a lot of potential out of Oak Park. Hadn’t seen him since the summer and was recently watching tape on him, his size really pops in person as compared to on tape. Lefty is the best shooter on the team by head and shoulders. Gifted passer that is underrated by most in that regard. Now looking for consistent production and aggression.
Jasiah Duckworth 5-10 PG Romeoville
Bowling ball of a guard whose best traits show themselves on the defensive end of the floor. Applies pressure both on-ball and off-ball. Tough to get by, quick lateral movement and active hands. Offensive games trails his defensive game, but he is not lacking in offensive confidence.
Noah Jones 6-3 SG Oak Park
Another new name, Jones has upside as a potential two-way wing. When he commits on defense, he is a load on the perimeter. Shooting stroke is solid, was consistent from both deep and at the free throw line. Plus rebounder for position.
Phoenix Jones 6-3 G Plainfield Central
Jones is a bigger guard whose true position is yet to be determined. Good size for position, especially if he can be a full time point guard. Bit of a delay in his shot but was hitting from the mid-range throughout practice.
Lucas Johnson 6-4 SG De La Salle
Johnson is an athletic wing that has easy lift off the hardwood. High ceiling type player with a great basketball frame that will add strength without losing athleticism. Shooting form is solid, showed ability to consistently connect on the mid-range jumper. Particularly adept at shooting on the move. Has something about him.
Jose Mendoza 6-6 PF Bolingbrook
Checking in at around 6-6, Mendoza is a late blooming type big whose best basketball is ahead of him. Has been working on getting in his best basketball shape. Developing defensive instincts and has upside as on-ball defender in the post. Showcased some interesting footwork on the block on offense.
Ronen Ousley 6-2 G Rochelle Zell
Ousley will be the X Factor in a way, for AR Elite this spring. They need his shooting ability to unlock the offense for the rest of the team. Shot it well in drills. Needs to let it fly in game action, more regularly.
Xavier Porter 6-3 SF De La Salle
Listed at 6-3, Porter plays more like a forward than a wing or guard. Gets after it from 15 feet and in. Did stretch range on his shot on occasion. Would like to see him grow more vertically or grow his perimeter skills more. Raw and athletic upside prospect.
